You may have heard it said that your day begins the night before. I heard that advice and ignored it every time, that is, until I experienced it for myself.

When I wake up in the morning and start planning my day, I find that I’m already in reactive mode. However, when I spend a little bit of time planning the night before, my following morning is quite pleasant.
